HyBrasil was a project about islands and transience, developed for Drop Everything 2014 on Inis Oirr off the Atlantic Coast of Ireland. A second iteration of the piece (HyBrasil II) featured at Westival, Westport, Co. Mayo in 2019. HyBrasil II was awarded Gold in the exhibitions and installations category of the Kinsale Shark Awards 2020. The installation was created from a grid of LED fixtures along speakers embedded in the environment for which I created an original soundscape.
